How do I find The Riverside?
The Riverside is situated on Ousegate in Selby, next door to Le Raj indian restaurant, just over the river Ouse toll bridge. Otherwise just put our postcode - YO8 4NJ in your sat nav!

How old do I have to be to get into The Riverside and will I need ID?
On most club nights we are 18+, and you will need ID if you dont look old enough. We can also hold 14+ and 16+ gigs if required by the promoter. Please check individual show details for age requirements.
What time does The Riverside stay open till?
This all depends on the age requirements for the gig. Most mid-week gigs will finish by 11pm however this can be later for 18+ events. We are licensed till 4am.
How do I get a show for my band at The Riverside?

Can I hire The Riverside for my own event?

How much notice do I need to give to cancel my event?
We need 28 days minimum.
What's the parking and loading like?
There is a car park to the right of the venue that is ok to park in on an evening free of charge. There is also on street parking at the front of the venue. All loading must be done from the front of the venue, double width fire doors and no stairs.
What time can we have access for load in from?
Load in time is generally from 4pm onwards.
Can we bring our own engineer?
Yes you can bring your own, but we will still need to have ours on site. You will need to notify us that you are providing your own engineer beforehand.
Is there a dressing room?
No there is not a dressing room although we can provide a room to get changed in on request, there is space at the side of the stage that bands can use for gear and changing. Wi-Fi is available in the venue. (password = riverside).
Can we sell merchandise?
Merchandise can be sold by prior arrangement from tables in the venue.

Are there any places nearby to eat?
There are lots of places to eat nearby ranging from chip shops to restaurants on the same street as the venue. We also sell hot food in the venue. Just ask and we will point you in the right direction!
